Incorporated in February 2009 as M K C Fruits India Private Limited, the Company operates an integrated fresh fruit supply chain through a tree-to-table business model, covering activities from procurement and pre-harvest farmer engagement to sorting, grading, waxing, ripening, controlled atmosphere (CA) storage, processing and logistics. The Promoter family’s association with the fresh fruit trading industry dates back to 1966.The Company sources fresh fruits through a network of over 12,000 farmers across key fruit-producing states, leased orchards spanning approximately 2,531.57 acres, and imports from more than 15 countries across five continents. Its diversified portfolio comprises 15+ fruit categories, including oranges, apples, mangoes, grapes, kiwi and bananas, allowing the Company to maintain year-round operations and reduce dependence on any single fruit or season. Its products are distributed under the consumer brand FRESHPICK through a network of approximately 100 distributors and more than 2,850 retailers.
The Company’s integrated infrastructure includes facilities across key fruit-producing regions, with an aggregate storage capacity of over 16,533 MT and processing capacity of 1,41,700 MT. This includes a 5,756 MT controlled atmosphere cold storage facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, equipped with technology and machinery imported from the Netherlands. The Company’s integrated logistics network is supported by approximately 150 vehicles, enabling efficient movement and distribution of fresh fruits. By undertaking procurement, processing, sorting and grading in-house, the Company aims to reduce lead times, minimise third-party risks and maintain consistent product quality.
As part of its expansion plans, the Company proposes to establish a 500 MT/day Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice (FCOJ) processing facility in Warud, Amravati, Maharashtra. The proposed facility will include citrus processing, table-fruit sorting and grading, and a dedicated degreening facility. The project has an estimated cost of ₹30,499 lakh, including GST, and has received a ₹5,000 lakh grant from the Government of Maharashtra under the Maharashtra State Export Promotion Policy. The facility has been accorded “Mega Project” status and is expected to commence commercial production by March 2027.
The Company also undertakes import and export activities across international markets and has been accorded Authorised Economic Operator – Tier 2 (AEO-T2) status by Indian customs authorities, supporting faster customs clearances and facilitating its international trade operations.
As of July 31, 2026, the Company had 91 employees.
