Incorporated in 1986, Hotel Polo Towers Ltd. develops, owns, operates, and manages a chain of upscale and midscale hotels and resorts in Northeast, East, and North India under the ‘Polo’ and ‘Max’ brands.
As of August 31, 2025, the company’s hospitality portfolio includes nine operational hotels and resorts with a total of 425 keys, 17 on-premise cafés and restaurants, and two standalone cafés. It also operates 34 event and banquet spaces catering to meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE).
Food and beverage (F&B) services form a core part of the business, generating stable revenues by serving both in-house guests and local community demand for organized dining.
The company is expanding its portfolio under two brand identities: the established “Polo” brand and the new “Chapter Hotels by Polo” brand, a boutique offering designed to deliver intimate, experiential stays. Upcoming properties include Polo Kohima and Polo Dimapur in Nagaland, Chapter Shillong, Chapter Nongkhlaw, Chapter Cherrapunjee (Sohra) in Meghalaya, and Polo Planters Lodge Resort in Dooars, West Bengal.
Over the years, Hotel Polo Towers has expanded its presence with hotels in Tura, Meghalaya, and Agartala, Tripura, along with resorts in Cherrapunjee (Sohra), Meghalaya, and Agartala, Tripura.
