Incorporated in March 2018 as Quanto Agroworld Private Limited, The Company was established with the objective of undertaking agricultural and farming activities and is engaged in the cultivation, processing and supply of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs), with lemongrass being its primary crop and principal commercial focus.The Company operates as a specialty botanical ingredient manufacturer, producing lemongrass-based products including lemongrass biomass, lemongrass tea-cut and lemongrass essential oil. Its essential oil is used in applications across personal care, home care, fragrance, aromatherapy and pharmaceutical industries, while lemongrass biomass and tea-cut are supplied to herbal tea manufacturers, nutraceutical companies and functional beverage brands. The Company primarily operates on a Business-to-Business (B2B) model and supplies institutional and industrial customers across India.
Quanto Agroworld follows a vertically integrated operating model, covering land preparation, plantation, crop management, harvesting, onsite steam distillation, packaging and dispatch. Its cultivation base comprises approximately 424 acres of developed agricultural land under the Maharashtra State Farming Corporation Limited (MSFCL), with an additional 312.57 acres under development. Through its subsidiary, Quanto Agritech Private Limited, the Company also has access to approximately 165.33 acres of privately leased agricultural land, providing additional cultivation capacity in a capital-efficient manner.
The Company’s manufacturing and processing facility is located at Ravalgaon, Nashik, Maharashtra, spread across approximately 20 gunthas (0.50 acres). The facility houses steam distillation units, utilities, material handling systems and storage infrastructure. The Company currently has a certified installed essential oil processing capacity of approximately 11.25 metric tonnes per annum and expects to increase its capacity to approximately 56.25 metric tonnes per annum through restoration of transferred capacity and addition of new distillation units, subject to stabilisation of operations and raw material availability.
The Company’s operations are supported by its subsidiaries, Quanto Agritech Private Limited, which facilitates access to privately leased agricultural land, and Quanto Kisan Private Limited, which undertakes limited agricultural trading and retail activities.
As of the date of the Prospectus, the Company had 11 permanent employees, supported by hired labour and external professional resources depending on seasonal and operational requirements.
