Incorporated in 1990, Kumar Cotton Mills is engaged in the processing of woven and knitted fabrics, offering a range of textile processing services including bleaching, dyeing, printing, and finishing. These processes enhance the appearance, quality, and functionality of fabrics, which are subsequently used in applications such as suiting, shirting, women’s apparel, hosiery, nightwear, and other garments. The company caters primarily to garment manufacturers, textile manufacturers and processors, traders, and wholesalers.
It operates through two principal business models. Under the job work processing model, customers provide grey or unfinished fabric, which the Company processes according to specified requirements relating to color, shade, finish, dimensions, and other quality parameters. Revenue from this segment is generated through processing charges. Under its own-account processing and sale model, the Company procures grey fabric from suppliers, undertakes the required processing activities at its manufacturing facility, and sells the finished fabric to customers across the textile value chain.
Its product portfolio includes processed woven and knitted fabrics made from a variety of fiber compositions such as 100% cotton, cotton-Lycra, cotton blends, polyester blends, polyester-viscose blends, and rayon-based fabrics. These fabrics serve diverse end-use applications across apparel and textile segments and are further converted into finished garments and textile products by customers.
The company carries out its operations at an integrated manufacturing facility located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat across 16,087 square meters. Equipped with the necessary processing infrastructure and machinery.
