Swan Defence and Heavy Industries Limited (SDHI) is India’s largest shipyard, accounting for 30% of the country’s shipbuilding capacity. Located on the west coast of India in Gujarat, SDHI provides a strategic advantage for both domestic and international customers. The shipyard enjoys geographical proximity to key global trade routes and maritime hubs, as well as comprehensive multi-modal connectivity by sea, rail, air, and road for inland transport and logistics. SDHI offers exceptional facilities for the construction and repair of commercial and defence vessels, including repairs for Jack-Up Rigs, offshore vessels, and heavy fabrication for offshore projects in Oil & Gas, Yellow Goods, and offshore wind farms. Spread across over 600 acres, our shipyard features one of the world’s largest dry docks (662m x 65m), capable of supporting vessel builds up to 400,000 DWT.
